Babcock Wilderness Adventures (Eco-Tours) is a guided tour which allows visitors to experience the world of “Old Florida.” During your adventure, you may see cattle, deer, alligators, panthers, wild boar, turkey and quail. Specially modified swamp buggies carry you through unspoiled pinewoods, freshwater marshes and portions of the Cypress Telegraph Swamp. You will learn about the history of the ranch and the surrounding area.
The Babcock Wilderness Adventures Tour runs daily by reservation only. The charges range from $9.95 to $17.95 per person plus sales tax.
The entrance drive to the Babcock Wilderness Adventures tour is on the east side of Route 31, nine miles north of the Lee County Civic Center on C.R. 78, or six miles south of the intersection of C.R. 74 and S.R. 31. Call 1-800-500-5583 for all reservations.
